• Conducted preliminary scouts of city to determine viability of a festival, as well as strategic festival planning
• Acted as the live Production Manager on behalf of the festival for the recorded television aspects of festivals which included working with Ellen DeGeneres-Ellen’s Really

Swatch Beach Major FIVB World Tour Finals

• 6 days of international competition broadcasted to over 85 countries worldwide
• Responsible for turning a commercial parking space into an event site with a 4000 seat grandstand surrounding a sand-filled beach volleyball centre court, and a 1200 capacity VIP tent sitting directly on the shores of Lake Ontario with a full onsite kitchen
• Managed the overall site operations, including a sponsor village that featured food trucks, LED screens, sponsor activations, and an additional 3 volleyball courts for a total of 1400 tons of FIVB certified sand
• Management of overall site budget and an event staff of 125
• Coordinated incident management procedures, wrote both incident management and fire plan for event
• Managed obtaining over 7 different city permits and coordinated on-site inspections

PANAMANIA Toronto2015 Pan / Parapan Am Games

• Produced the critically acclaimed PANAMANIA arts and culture festival site at Nathan Phillips Square with attendance numbers of over 350,000, with 200 shows, on three custom outdoor stages over 23 days including nightly fireworks displays in the heart of downtown Toronto
• Responsible for tracking & management of production, site and staffing budgets
• Operational scope included critical path, event planning, venue management, communication structures, vendor management, production and décor elements, emergency planning, technology, catering, accreditation, health and safety procedures, security and medical deployments
• Within the scope of work was to act as a liaison between Toronto2015 and the City of Toronto, lead partners in the event, and report to Toronto2015, City of Toronto, Province of Ontario and Federal government
• Responsible for hiring and management of festival team of approximately 75
• Responsible for working in conjunction with the Toronto2015 Ceremonies team to produce the internationally live televised broadcast of the 2015 Parapan Closing Ceremonies from Nathan Phillips Square

• An 18 day arts and culture festival located in an abandoned, partly demolished former power generating station in the Port Lands of Toronto
• Created a festival site, which included a 1500 seat theatre, 5000 person music venue, 2000 seat concert hall, cabaret room, restaurant and beer garden.
• Real time site budget tracking and management and an event staff of 100 plus
• Responsible for management of comprehensive heath & safety program and incident management procedures
• Managed various city permits, inspections and full site fire safety plan in conjunction with Toronto Fire
• Contracted vendors & equipment, which included scaffold stairway structures, performance spaces
